The
Ebbsfleet Lay Congress
provides an environment where members of the laity can meet annually with each
other and their Bishop to discuss relevant issues, decide corporate action, and
receive reports from the Lay Council on its activities during the year.
The Lay Congress consists of two representatives from each parish that has
sought Episcopal oversight from the Bishop of Ebbsfleet, together with two
representatives from each Forward in Faith area within the See of
Ebbsfleet. |
The
Ebbsfleet Lay Council
collaborates with the Bishop and his Council of Priests to co-ordinate, promote
and further the work and mission of the Church within the See of Ebbsfleet. It
meets throughout the year, and is also responsible for organising the Lay
Congress. |
